“Cupping” is a holistic alternative medicine practice dating back to ancient China, Egypt and India, usually practiced only by professionals. So when Curam designed a product that made the practice (finally!) accessible for home care, they turned to me to build their ecommerce experience.

Web Design

With input from Marie Jansson we decided to go with a two-pronged approach: WordPress for CMS and WooCommerce to power the online store. Designs were made in collaboration with Famous Last Words and built in Avada, a great theme updated constantly which offers new functions and stability as the web changes around it.

“Lovely person who keeps what he promises, incredible competence that comes with rewarding views and creative suggestions, accommodating, 100% committed, educational, easy and fun to work with and always does that little bit extra. Super talent simply!”

WooCommerce

With simple integrations for logistics, accounting and taxes, WooCommerce is one of the most widely used Ecommerce plugins on the market. It even has a strong plugin which plays nicely with other themes, which is great for sites with existing brands that just need a powerful ecomm core for managing orders and checkout.

Video Production

To boost marketing and also clearly illustrate how to use the product we produced short videos showcasing different scenarios of how you can use the cups. We managed everything from planing to video photography and post-production.

Image Editing

Famous Last Words delivered photos and I tuned them up to ensure they made a great impression, by removing dust, scratches and other unwanted details. The photos were then colour graded to give an accurate colour of the real-life product onscreen and I then added a neutral background so each photo would flow seamlessly on the site.
